In order to be considered, you must complete the purchase and installation of a sonnenCore, sonnenCore+, or sonnenEvo battery system paired with solar, internet access, and be participating in a qualifying utility rate. You must own your sonnen battery to receive the quarterly capacity and annual performance bonus payments, PPA and VPA customers do not qualify for the sonnenConnect payments. You also must be a current Pacific Gas & Electric, SoCal Edison or San Diego Gas & Electric customer and complete the sonnen approval process to enroll in sonnenConnect. Your sonnen certified installer will also help determine your eligibility for the sonnenConnect Program.

The SOLRITE VPA is a groundbreaking solar + sonnen VPP technology coupled with a purpose-built Power Purchase Agreement for residential and commercial applications and is available to customers in California & Puerto Rico. SOLRITE VPA customers are NOT eligible to receive quarterly capacity or annual performance bonus cash payments from sonnen.
- Available in California as the premium solution to NEM 3.0 (Net Billing Tariff) by maximizing customer bill savings along with proactive backup power service.

No. During a grid outage or PSPS event, you will have 100% access to your battery to ensure your home stays powered and protected. When possible, sonnen will even proactively charge your battery to ensure you have the maximum stored energy available to keep your home powered and protected.

However, sonnen systems do qualify for federal and state tax incentives, such as the Federal Incentive Tax Credit (ITC) and the California’s Self Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) along with other local incentives. Please confirm with your sonnen certified installer about the most recent incentive availability and qualifications and consult with your tax professional for information on whether you may qualify for these tax incentives.
